About the Artist

Kim Jackson is a Downingtown, Pennsylvania-based artist with over 14 years of experience in the arts field. Armed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Kim is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and utilizes her artistry to amplify its importance.

Kim's current body of work revolves around mental health awareness, employing surrealistic and metaphorical imagery to convey the complexities of mental illness. Her recent portfolio features acrylic paintings that delve into personal narratives through symbolic representations, while her clay sculptures serve as tangible expressions of motivational symbols.

Kim's paintings are introspective journeys, navigating the hazy terrain of depression and anxiety in search of clarity and understanding. The sculptures, infused with stimulating scents, engage the senses, inviting viewers to connect with the artist's experiences on a deeper level.
